Renaud, Jane Mary (Trowe) Passed away peacefully on July 6, 2025 at the age of 89. Reunited with her loving husband Robert “Sandey” Renaud (2004). Cherished mother of Christopher (Sue) Renaud, Catharine (Jeff) McDowell, Laura (Matthew) Sellars and Matthew (Melissa) Renaud. Loving nana of Spencer (Jenna), Marlee (Matt), Tarah (Darren), Aaron, Jessica (Kris) and Monique (Richard). Great nana of nine great grandchildren and one on the way. Dear sister of Win and late Sylvia (2018). Also remembered by her many friends, nieces, nephews and extended family.
Jane was a registered nurse who graduated from the 1st nursing class at Metropolitan Hospital in 1957. She was a longtime Avon representative for over 40 years and was known by many as the Avon Lady. She had a firecracker personality, a strong determination, and a great sense of humour with lots of “sass”. She will be remembered for her caring heart, generosity and thoughtfulness.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 9, 2025, from 2:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m. at Kennedy Funeral Home, 128 Talbot St. N, Essex, Ontario. A service to celebrate Jane’s life will be held on Thursday July 10, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Kennedy Funeral Home. Interment at Christ Church Cemetery, Colchester. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
