Richard Daniel Staples passed away at Golden Plough Lodge in Cobourg on October 5, 2026, at the age of 73. He is remembered by his sons Jason and Ben, grandchildren, great-granddaughter, siblings, extended family and his friend Brian Wilson. He was predeceased by his wife, Dianne.
Cremation has taken place, and there will be no visitation or funeral service. Memorial donations may be made to Golden Plough Lodge or a charity of choice.
