With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Keith Eric Rielly, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Keith passed away peacefully leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will live on in all who knew him.

Keith is survived by his devoted wife and best friend Bonnie Rielly, his loving daughter Laura (Mike) and his treasured grandson Austin, with whom he shared countless hours playing sports, laughing, and simply enjoying life. Keith’s bond with Austin was truly a special friendship and mentorship wrapped in the love of a grandfather.

He is predeceased by his loving parents Keith and Olis Rielly and his brother Jim Rielly. He will be fondly remembered by his sister-in-law Mary Ann and his niece Annalisa (Matthew) as well as a proud great-uncle to Charlotte and Oliver, whose smiles always brightened his day.

Keith’s life was rich with moments spent at the family cottage, where he found peace and joy with nature’s beauty. He loved camping, travelling, spending time with family and creating treasured memories along the way. Whether it was a big adventure or a simple evening by the fire, Keith’s presence made every moment more special.

Those who knew Keith will remember his kind heart, gentle humour, and unwavering devotion to his family. His love was steady and unconditional, and his absence leaves an unfillable space in the hearts of those he touched.

While we will miss him deeply, we take comfort in knowing that Keith’s spirit lives on in the laughter of his family and friends and the countless memories that he built with those he loved most.

A Celebration of Keith’s Life will be held on Saturday August 23rd from 1pm-5pm at 133 High Street, Bowmanville, ON. Friends and family are all welcome to join us in celebrating the wonderful man that Keith Rielly was.

The family is requesting in lieu of flowers for donations to be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Cancer Center at Lakeridge Health Oshawa in Keith’s honour.

Rest In Peace Keith. You will be forever loved and remembered.
