We are sad to announce that on January 11, 2026, at the age of 99, Rita Lopez (Vaughan, Ontario) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rita Lopez to pay them a last tribute.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Luciano; her children, Anna Maria (late Severino), Raffaella (Joe), Ernie (Helen), Nella (Frank) and Franca (Robert); and her grandchildren, John (Laura), Rosalia, Rita (Angelo), Luciano (Grace), Nadia (Nick), Vincenzo (Maria), Adriano (Danielle), Michael (Stephanie), Teresa (Alessandro) and Marcus.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Vescio Funeral Home “woodbridge Chapel” (8101 Weston Rd, Woodbridge, ON L4L1A6). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church (150 St Francis Ave, Vaughan, ON L4H 2A2).

If so desired, donations in memory of Rita may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
