Shirley Roach, 79, of St. Thomas, Ontario passed away May 25, 2025.She was born to the late Audrey and John Nadzon, October 8, 1945 in Bexley Heath, England.

She married the late Daniel Roach in 1976 and they lived together in St.Thomas for over 30 years. Shirley is survived by three children: Robert Cunningham, Simon (Erika) Roach , and Jennifer (Michael) Weare; her grandchildren Sophie, Lily, Oliver, Stella, Alice, Cailin and Valerie; her sisters Margaret Rogers and Audrey Fournier; and sister-in-law Fran Roach. Shirley was predeceased by her loving husband in 2024.

Shirley was passionate about dance and fitness and worked for many years at the Centre Branch YMCA in London, Ontario. After moving to St. Thomas, she continued to work in the fitness industry at the High Street Recreation Complex. Once she retired, she spent her time volunteering with various community organizations including the Kiwanis Club, teaching fitness classes at the Senior’s Centre and tending to her amazing garden. She shared a love of travel with her husband and made many friends on her various trips. Shirley was immensely proud of her family and treasured her many friends and neighbours. She will be deeply missed by all those who were lucky enough to know her.
