ROBERTSON, Jeffrey Andrew Robertson
August 13, 1971 - November 30, 2025
It is with deep sadness that the family shares the sudden passing of Jeffrey Andrew Robertson on November 30, 2025, at the age of 54. Loving partner of Elaine Peters, cherished son of Ellen Olesen (the late Paul Robertson), a treasured brother to Cheryl Robertson, gracious uncle of Samantha Becker (Mackenzie Blain) and great-uncle to Ellen Becker. Jeff was adored by all who knew him and he will be dearly missed by many friends and family.
Born August 13, 1971 in Georgetown, Jeff grew up in the Dundalk and Markdale area, where he attended Grey Highlands Secondary School before heading to Mohawk College. His education and apprenticeship would lay the foundation that would motivate him through the next 35 years of his career as a Master Technician with both Owen Sound and Collingwood Nissan. Jeff was driven and passionate, taking every opportunity to learn and broaden his skillset, making him an exceptional leader over the course of his vocation. Jeff made the decision to retire early, but continued using his knowledge at CarQuest in Markdale, remaining devoted to his community and his life-long passions.
Jeff was the kind of guy who would greet you at the door with a big smile and a cold Molson Canadian. Jeff loved spending time with friends and socializing, and his positive disposition was contagious. If you knew Jeff, you knew that he would be there if you ever needed a hand. He was someone that you could depend on and would be ready and willing to show up whenever you needed him. His generous spirit was evident in the way he was able to connect with any one who crossed his path, and was cherished immensely by those he loved. Jeff’s presence, even if no words were exchanged, made you feel special.
Jeff could roll with the punches; he was endlessly eager to take on new adventures and this venturous spirit sparked his desire to travel and see the world. From spending summers in Denmark, expeditions to Alaska or jumping into the Arctic Ocean, he was always ready to explore. Jeff would ensure that every winter included a Caribbean getaway with Elaine, his favourite adventure partner. He loved the outdoors and would regularly spend his free time camping, hiking, snowmobiling or repelling. Jeff adored his animals and revered them as if they were his children, leaving behind two birds, a dog and a cat. Jeff filled his life to the brim with beautiful experiences, and his legacy lives on through the people who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A Come & Go Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 13th at the Markdale Country Club from 1pm-5pm. Please join us in having a drink in Jeffโs honour.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Bruce Trail Conservancy or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Online Condolences and tributes available at www.fawcettfuneralhome.ca
