Died peacefully in his home on the afternoon of May 9, 2026 after 66 years of a full life. Left missing him are his wife Deborah, who counts herself lucky to have spent 42 years of marriage to the love of her life, sons Michael (Melissa), and Brian (Hannah) whom he was beyond proud of. Donald; or Donny to everyone who knew him, felt fortunate to have 5 beautiful grandchildren aged 18 years to 9 years: Madilynn, Maxwell, Ronin, Meredith and Quinnlee. Donald Brent Robillard is survived by his parents Brent and Heather Robillard as well as his brothers Lance (April), Dale (Lori) and Stephen (Pierrette), In laws John and Marj Hill, and his many nieces, cousins, Aunts and Uncles.
To the end, he was passionate about fishing and hunting, watching sports, and Bar-B-Quing for his large brood. He was reignited by his grandchildren, who shared his love of family and appreciation of the outdoors. He is loved forever for his playfulness and sense of humour that made him magnetic to those he loved. Words cannot express the profound loss and grief felt by all those who knew and loved Donny.
The immediate family will be holding a private ceremony and will be welcoming friends and family to a celebration of life for this larger-than-life man, who’s generosity was boundless in the near future.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children’s Hospital in memory of his late grandson Maxwell Michael Robillard.
