In the early hours of Monday, April 21, 2025, Norma Robinson passed away suddenly but ever so peacefully in her sleep, at home, with her cat by her side. She was 85 years old.
Norma is lovingly remembered by her daughter Jennifer (Chad) and son Andrew (Erin), and deeply missed by her cherished grandchildren Bailey, Tori (Neil), Spencer, and Nathan. She was a proud and loving Gigi to her great-granddaughter Ellie.
Originally from Manchester, UK, Norma sailed to Canada in the late 1960s aboard the Queen Elizabeth 2. She met her husband Jack in Scarborough, and together they built a life in Oshawa, where they remained married for 49 years until Jack’s passing in January 2022.
Norma touched many lives, both here in Canada and in the UK. To her friends from the BOAA and her supportive condo community, your presence and kindness over the past three years meant so much. Thank you.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Newcastle Funeral Home, 386 Mill St. S., Newcastle, ON, on Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Family and friends are warmly invited to gather and share memories.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Norma’s memory may be made to the Humane Society of Durham Region, a cause close to her heart.
