RODMAN, Robert “Bob” Laurence Rodman
June 5, 1946 - May 17, 2025
Brampton, Ontario – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our Uncle Robert “Bob” Rodman on May 17th, 2025, at the age of 78.
Bob was born on August 5th, 1946, to Tom and Alma Rodman in Oshawa, Ontario. He graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Science and worked as a Medical Laboratory Technician for many years. He was an avid reader, interested in genealogy and economics.
Predeceased by his mother and father and his younger sister Beverly Dainty. Survived by his brother Bruce Rodman (Vanessa). Lovingly remembered by his nephews Grant Dainty (Marjorie) and Gregory Dainty (Matoula) and their children Nicole and Dennis.
Bob was a quiet man with a kind heart. For many years he cared for his elderly cats, Twigs and Ghost, offering them a loving home in their final years. He was a long-time member of the Brampton Lawn Bowling Club where he enjoyed the game and the company of many friends over the years.
He will be deeply missed at family dinners and during the holidays and he will be lovingly remembered by those who knew him well.
A graveside service will be held at McNeil Wick Cemetery in Brock Township, Ontario on Thursday June 5th at 11:00am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the North Toronto Cat Rescue or the Etobicoke Humane Society.
