With deep sorrow and abiding love, we share that Minerva Rodriguez passed away peacefully at the age of 70, just months after celebrating a milestone birthday surrounded by those she cherished most.
Minerva was a woman who lived with her whole heart. She was funny, dramatic in all the best ways, deeply faithful, and endlessly devoted to her family. Whether offering a shoulder to lean on, a story to lift your spirits, or a plate of food made with love, Minerva had a way of making everyone feel like they were the most important person in the room.
She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend. To know her was to be part of her family—because Minerva lived for her people. Family wasn’t just a priority; it was her purpose. Her love for them was unwavering, and her strength came from being surrounded by those she held dear.
She brought light, laughter, and a touch of flair to every space she entered. One moment, she could be silly and spontaneous; the next, she’d offer the kind of wisdom that stays with you for a lifetime. Her faith grounded her, her love sustained those around her, and her presence—bold, joyful, and kind—will be deeply missed.
And if there was a karaoke mic nearby, you could bet Minerva was already up there, ready to belt out a Whitney Houston classic—whether the notes were perfect or not. Her joy was infectious, her courage admirable, and her commitment to fun unmatched.
Minerva leaves behind a legacy of compassion, connection, and joy. The echoes of her voice, her laughter, and her love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Minerva will be lovingly remembered and missed by her children Racquel (Jason), Raynard (Cody); granddaughter, Kaylani; siblings Claire, Lita, Zeny and Belen; as well as numerous family members and friends.
