He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Jane (Legere) and Alexander Richard. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn (Snowdon); his children, Brent (Claudia), Laura (Michael) and Lisa (Chris); his grandchildren, Jonathan, Natalie (Oliver), Tyler (Christine), Daniel, Troy, Andrew (Emma), Cole, Zachary and Calen; his great grandchildren, Grayson and Georgia Roy; his siblings, Walter, Marie, Levina (Richard) and Dorice; his siblings-in-law, Barbara Grace, Bonnie, Isobel, David, Michael, Jim and Vince; his daughter Brenda; his siblings, Camille, Edward and Clara; and his siblings-in-law, Eileen, Donna, Susan, Blanche, Thérèse, Jack, Fred and Harold. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM at the Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St E, Oshawa, ON L1H1B6). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church (214 Simcoe St N, Oshawa, ON L1G4S9).
