Ron Wayne Bryant was born January 22, 1943, and died September 27, 2026. The family described him as Ronald (Ron) Bryant.
Ron was born and raised in Kingston, Ontario, and later moved to Oshawa for a 30-year career with Bell Canada. He progressed from linesman to management and ultimately director of logistics for Ontario and Quebec. He and Sharon built their family life together, including several years in Saudi Arabia from 1981 to 1984 and travels through Europe, Asia, and Africa.
After retirement, Ron and Sharon settled in the Whitby area. He worked as a flower deliveryman and handyman, and later volunteered with local food banks. He was the father of Tracy (Mike) and Jeff (Judy), and grandfather of Matt (Jenna), Jake (Taylor), Ben, Sadie, and Joshua Jeffrey (JJ).
A celebration of life will be hosted by the family at a later date. Private cremation has taken place, and arrangements were entrusted to Barnes Memorial Funeral Home.
