ROSA, Lynn Marie Johnson-da Rosa

With broken hearts, we share the passing of Lynn Johnson da Rosa. She died on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at the age of 63.

Born on November 4, 1962, Lynn left a permanent impact on every single person she met throughout her life. She was a wife of nearly 40 years, a mother to four, and grandmother to five. However, she truly was a mother and a grandmother to all the neighbourhood kids who were lucky enough to be loved by her.

Her memory is carried on by her husband George; her children Justin (Andrea), Kahla (Marc), Taylor (Matt), and Laura (Mitchell); her grandchildren Jackson, Bowen, Emilie, Sophie, and Leah; her brother Terry; and countless friends and people whose lives she touched.

Lynn was warm, compassionate, generous, and had so much love to give – whether it was with someone she knew all her life or someone she had just met. She was passionate about caring for those in need and spoiling her grandkids.

Though our lives will never be the same, we’re grateful for the moments we shared and the everlasting mark she has left on all of us. May we all carry on her mission of love, generosity, and kindness.

Family and friends are invited to join us to celebrate her remarkable life on December 22, 2025 from 11:30am – 3:30pm at the Lindsay Golf and Country Club, 282 Lindsay Street South. If attending, we invite you to wear something colourful – just like she was.
