ROSS, Allen Ross

May 15, 1938 - May 8, 2026

He lived a life full of love, laughter and adventure. On May 8th, surrounded by his family, he began his eternal adventure, leaving behind countless memories to be cherished by those he’s left behind.

Allen Ross leaves behind, Betty, his devoted partner and soulmate of 69 years, his daughters, Wendy (Peter) Vergeer, Karrie (Peter 2003) Vandenberg, Grandchildren, Lindsay (Mike), Emily (Craig), Trevor (Lexi), Lauren (Ryan), Brandon (Natalie), Great Grandchildren, Parker, Jamie, Oliver, Jack, Kinsley, Colton and Lucy.

Allen touched many lives over his lifetime. He will be celebrated on Tuesday May 12th at Arn Funeral Home in Dutton. Visitation will start at 11:00 am-1:30 with service beginning at 2:00.

Anyone who knew Allen knows that he wasn’t a formal kind of guy. Therefore the dress code is no suits or ties. Denim and comfy is preferred.

Internment at Evergreen Cemetery West Lorne followed by a reception at St Mary’s Parish Hall.

The family would like to recognize and thank all staff and friends at Port Stanley Extendicare for their exceptional care and support of Allen as well as Doctors and Nursing staff at Emerge and 5th floor for their exceptional care and support.

In lieu of flowers donations to STEGH or the Alzheimer’s society via the upcoming Walk for Alzheimer’s would be appreciated. The family will be participating in this walk and appreciate your support.
