ROSS, Marian Ross

ROSS, Marian passed peacefully on Monday July 7, 2025 at Age Care Samac just a few weeks before her 100th birthday. Beloved and fun-loving mother to Lyn Ross and the late Robbie Ross. Survived by her dear sister Jane Davis sister to her late siblings Elsie (Bill) Werry, Roly (Marg) Arnold, Ann (Percy “Jigger”) Northey, and Sid (Jean) Arnold. Marian leaves behind many nieces and nephews and extended family. She will be deeply missed by her chosen family “grand children”: Nicholas (Corinne) Kadoski & Shannon (Chris) Zurowski and their parents Dave and Marta Kadoski. Marian will be forever remembered fondly for her fun-loving spirit, witty sense of humour and carefree spirit. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Age Care Samac for their care and compassion, you became like family to Marian and your warmth and generosity did not go unnoticed.

Marian was an avid golfer until the age of 92. She was heavily involved with The Unifor Family Auxiliary – Local 222, formerly known as the CAW for years, she walked picket lines and everything! The Denise House was another cause very close to her heart, she continually delivered care packages at Christmas and many toiletries throughout the year.

As per Marian’s wishes no celebration of life will be held, in her words “I have celebrated for 100 years, there is no need for another”. She selected Aquamation for herself and requested in memory that donations may be made to the St. Peter’s Food Bank, Bethesda House or charity of choice.
