RUSSELL, Carmel Helena Russell

Shortly after celebrating her 103rd birthday, Carmel (nee Manning) passed away peacefully at Port Perry Hospital on Thursday, August 28, 2025. She is predeceased by her husband, Bill, of 67 years. Loving mother of Ann, Kris (Wayne), and Joe (Geraldine). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Alain, Alexandre, Andrea, Lauren, Jody, Tara, Ally, Jacob, and Cassy. Dear great-grandmother of Krystalle, Hailley, Abbygaille, William, Brittany, and Nathaniel.

The family wishes to express their deep appreciation to the palliative care staff at the Port Perry Hospital for their kindness and compassion.

The family of Carmel Russell will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Tuesday, September 2nd from 10 -11a.m. followed by a Prayer Service at 11 a.m. with Father Silva officiating. Interment Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Whitby.
