Ryan Paul Robitaille
May 19, 1989 - December 24, 2025
Passed away suddenly on December 24, 2025, at the age of 36, leaving a profound emptiness in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Above all else, Ryan loved his sonsβJamison (Steph), Tiberius, and William (Olivia)βwith his whole heart. This past year gifted Ryan precious time to create meaningful memories with his boys, moments that brought him immense joy and fulfillment. Being their father was his greatest pride and purpose.
As a young boy, Ryan suffered an immense tragedy that weighed heavily on him throughout his life. This led to struggles with mental health and addiction. Last year, he successfully completed rehabilitation and was making meaningful strides toward returning to work and fully enjoying time with his family again. He could not have done it without the countless hours of support from his caseworker (Fabyan) and family. Beyond his illness, Ryanβs life reflected a kind, gentle, and compassionate soul.
He was a caring and devoted father, patient and loving with his children. In recent months, while his father was ill, Ryan stood steadfastly by his side, ready to help in any way he couldβa reflection of his loyalty and quiet strength.
Ryan shared a very close bond with his father. They always made a point to say βI love youβ whenever parting, even for the smallest errands. Ryan was always eager to lend a hand, and they truly enjoyed spending time together.
He will be forever loved and deeply missed by his father, Gil; mother, Michelle; sister, Niki (husband Jay); and by all who were fortunate enough to know his kind heart. His family is truly heartbroken by his loss.
Ryanβs love will live on through his children and through the many lives he touched.
The family encourages donations to someone you know who may be struggling, or to a cause dedicated to the treatment, awareness, and assistance of those suffering from mental illness. We are hopeful that honoring the solitary life of one man will awaken compassion, unconditional love, and understanding for all those afflictedβresulting in mental health awareness and activism so long overdue.
If you knew Ryan at any point in his life, the family would be grateful if you could share a story or leave a comment on Ryanβs memorial page.
