SAAD, Renee Saad

The world lost an amazing woman who had a huge impact on her family as well as many students that she taught as a French Immersion teacher at the Windsor Essex Catholic District school board. Renée was married to George Saad who loved her deeply for over 50 years and was the loving mother of both Alan (Kim) and Christine (Greg). She often spoke about how proud she was of her children and words can’t describe how proud they are of all her life accomplishments. She absolutely adored her two grandchildren Ava and Maia.

Anyone who was lucky to be invited to Renée’s house for a meal was treated to a feast with exquisite desserts. She truly loved entertaining and created many magical moments for her family and friends. She was an outstanding French Immersion teacher and finished an amazing career when she retired as department head of modern languages at St Joseph High school. She took great pride in her accomplishments as a teacher. She worked so hard and had an enormous impact on so many students.

Renee Saad loved her family and words cannot describe how much her family loves and misses her. Her children Alan and Christine fondly remember how special she made every Christmas. She absolutely loved the holiday season. She was especially close to her sisters Eva, Theresa and Maggie and enjoyed joking with them and talking about issues going on in the world. She was very passionate about her beliefs and genuinely had empathy for those who suffered. It’s what made her the beautiful human being that those who knew her and loved her will always remember her for. Renée was the proud sister-in-law and Aunt to so many people that loved her. A special thank you to her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Challita and Mansoura for always going above and beyond the call of family.  The family extends their deepest gratitude to all who have reached out during this incredibly difficult time.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 13th at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Banwell Location from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 14th, 2026 for 10:00 a.m. visitation until the time of the Celebration of Life at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel. Cremation to follow. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Downtown Mission.
