Sandra Jane Mohns (née Adam) died peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on August 27, 2026, at the age of 81.
Sandra is lovingly remembered by her husband, Wayne Mohns; her children, Heather Eddy (Jason), Adam Mohns (Amanda), and Amy Sauvary (Paul); and her grandchildren, Devin, Logan, Kianna, Cassia, Caleb, Kalyssa, Cadence, Madalayne, Lilah, and Henry.
She will also be missed by her sister, Lynda Adam (Gerry Hawke); her brother, George Adam (Betty-Lou); and her extended family, including Wendy Komar, Doug Mohns, Alysse Norcross, Shawn Komar, Ryan Komar, Darren Mohns, Kyle Mohns, and Kim Williamson.
Sandra was predeceased by her parents, Barney and Lena Adam; her parents-in-law, Lester and Ruth Mohns; and her nephew, Andrew Adam.
Visitation and Funeral Service
Family and friends gathered at College Park Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1164 King Street East in Oshawa, on September 2, 2026. Visitation was held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Burial information was not provided in the funeral-home notice.
