SANGSTER, Ann Sangster

She loved her family intensely, never taking a day off from being a wife, mother, sister, or friend. Ann Sangster fought cancer like a warrior, turning two-month diagnosis into a nearly year and half celebration of life and family. This remarkable resilience enabled us to celebrate a major milestone – her 50th wedding anniversary with her husband. We enjoyed precious time together during birthdays and holidays. She fought for us as well as herself. But now it’s time for her to rest and to let us carry on her legacy.

Mom passed peacefully surrounded by her family in the evening of July 9th at Grey Bruce Hospice – Chapman House in Owen Sound. A celebration of Life will be announced in the near future.
