SCHAEFER, Terry Allen Schaefer

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Terry Schaefer on Monday May 25, 2026, at the age of 62, surrounded by his family.

Terry Allen Schaefer was the beloved husband of Jodie (née Noebel). Son of Dick Noebel and dear father of  Jamie Swayze (Josh), Tyler Schaefer, Taurie Sutherland (Colin). Cherished grandfather of to Elijah, Max, Cal, Lillie, Gracyn, Frances, Layne and Carter. Predeceased by his parents Allen and Joan (née Weir) and his sister Tracey.

Terry lived his life standing in faith and had the deepest love for his family. Every day he spent was a day to serve those around him. He loved to golf and fish with friends and of course turn a good catch day into one of his famous fish fry’s. His ability to cook up outstanding meals was nothing short of impressive and his talent of knowing how to do or fix just about anything quite incredible. He was unashamed of how much he loved his wife Jodie; calling her his greatest adventure. Most recently Terry could be seen driving around participating in Vintage VW cruises and enjoying that entire community. He will be remembered most for how much he loved being surrounded by family and friends – always giving off the best positive, fun and chill energy.

His warmth, kindness, and easy going nature will leave a lasting impression on all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him and in the countless stories shared in his honour.

A celebration of Terry’s life will be held on Saturday June 6th 2026, Wellspring Community Church Welland, 370 South Pelham Road from 10:30 AM-1 PM.
