It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Senyk at Lakeridge Oshawa Hospital, Palliative Unit on Wednesday, February 25th. 2026.He passed, peacefully in his sleep after a long illness, He was 93.Many thanks to all of the wonderfully compassionate and professional staff at Lakeridge who helped Michael through his final journey.Born in Ukraine in 1932, he was the youngest of 6 children.But he was one of a kind.A great father to his eldest son, Paul and his younger son Mark, and his family, Eileen, Jax and Shiloh.He leaves behind his wife, Margarita and her children, Taras, Anton and Lesia (and their families) and Rita’s grandchildren, Adam, Simon and Kurtis.He will be missed by all, and missed by fellow Ukies everywhere.Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026 from 10 a.m. – 12 :30 p.m. at  Armstrong Funeral Home. (124 King St. E., Oshawa). A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 12:30 p.m.
