Sheila Marie MacKenzie passed away peacefully at Bluewater Health on September 27, 2026, shortly after celebrating her 92nd birthday. She was born on September 5, 1934.
Sheila is remembered by her children Kenneth, Karen, Marie, and Brian and their families; grandchildren Jessica, Jason, Aaron, and Jennifer; and extended family. She was reunited with her husband, Duncan MacKenzie, and was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Elizabeth Miller.
A devoted Catholic, Sheila served the Sarnia Catholic Women’s League for more than 40 years, including as president. She volunteered in her community and was known for her humour, generosity, and devotion to family.
Cremation has taken place, and a private family service will be held. Donations may be made to Bluewater Health Foundation – Palliative Care.
