SIDDALL, Jo-Anne Elizabeth “JoJo” Siddall

Passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of tough love, laughter, and endless trips to yard sales.

Beloved partner of the late Ian Griffin (2024). Loving mother to the late Aaron Siddall, with whom she will be laid to rest. Cherished mom to Karen Siddall and Jodi Marchand (Richard).

Proud Grandma to Ashley Garcia (Hans), Cassandra Marchand (Justin), Madison Marchand (Brian), and Lucas Siddall. An absolutely amazing great-grandma – “Crazy Grama, Gam Gam, G ma Graaaaama!” – to Gavin, Ashtin, and Emma J. Garcia, and Layla Santos. Her great-grandchildren were her world. She adored them, spoke of them to anyone who would listen, and loved celebrating every accomplishment and milestone.

Dear sister of Douglas Derbyshire (late Linda Inglis). Predeceased by her siblings Barbara Houchen (late Edward), William Derbyshire (late Norma), Donna Bolton (late William), Robert Derbyshire (late Judy), John Derbyshire (late Hedi), and Harold Derbyshire. Jo-Anne Elizabeth “JoJo” Siddall will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Retired from H.J. Heinz, JoJo lived life on her own terms. You could often find her traveling back and forth from Dutton on weekends “acting like a teenager,” treasure-hunting at yard sales because “there was always something for someone,” or stepping outside for a smoke and a chat. She had a quick wit, a huge heart, and a special spark that made everyone feel like family.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Royal Oak Long-Term Care Home and Leamington Hospital for the exceptional care and compassion shown to Grama.

Visiting at Reid Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 14 Russell Street, Leamington (519-326-2631) Monday from 6-8 pm. Funeral Service to Celebrate JoJo’s Life will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday April 28, 2026 at 11 am. Interment to follow at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: The Sexual Assault Crisis Centre of Essex County (SACC). Cheques payable to: The Sexual Assault Crisis Centre of Essex County or to Erie Shores Hospice.
