Passed away peacefully at the Columbia Forest Long Term Care Home in Waterloo on Monday, February 9, 2026, at the age of 94.

Jean is also survived by brother-in-law Ross Simpson and is fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Jean was predeceased in 2020 by Charlie, her loving husband of 69 years. She was also predeceased by her son Chuck (2011), and daughter-in-law Lydia (2014).

A memorial service for Jean will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, 136 Margaret Ave., Kitchener on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 12 noon.  Friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. until 11:45 a.m.  A reception will follow the service.  For those who are unable to join in person a livestream of the service will be available on Jean’s tribute page at www.erbgood.com.
