SKINNER, Ethel Skinner

It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Ethel Elizabeth Skinner on July 24, 2026, at the age of 99. Ethel is now reunited with her beloved siblings, Mary Thornton, Terry Hudson, and Harry Kushnir. She leaves behind her loving daughters, Susan Perrin (Stephen) and Laura Culumovic (Duke). Cherished Nana of Katie (Jeff), Nicole (Mark), and Michael (Emily), and proud Great-Grandma of William and Max. Ethel dedicated many years of service to the Windsor Public School Board, retiring in 1992. She began her career at Walker Public School and concluded it at Herman Secondary School. A lifelong member of the Girl Guides of Canada and the Windsor Trefoil Guild, Ethel was also a dedicated volunteer with the Friend of the Court program at Mackenzie Hall. In her retirement, Ethel treasured the time she spent with family and friends, creating many fond memories that will be cherished forever. Cremation has taken place. A private family interment at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens will be held at a later date
