It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Arkadiusz “Eric” Skroczek, who passed away peacefully on April 24, 2025, with his daughter by his side.
Eric was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother, remembered for his hard-working spirit, quiet strength, and generous heart.

Born in Poland, Eric and his beloved wife, Grazyna “Grace,” immigrated to Canada 39 years ago, building a life rooted in hard work, care, and perseverance.
They served as superintendents of an apartment building for over 33 years, creating a warm and welcoming environment for their tenants.

Eric was predeceased by his wife, Grace, and his parents, Karolina and Stanislaw.
He is survived by his daughter Eliza (Tex), his cherished grandchildren Josh and Zoe, and his loving siblings and extended family in Poland.
He will be remembered as a hero, teacher, and tireless supporter by those closest to him.

A small celebration of life for both Arkadiusz and Grazyna will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank the nurses, doctors, personal support workers, and friends who provided exceptional care and kindness during Eric’s final months.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Eric’s name may be made to Meals on Wheels, an organization that supported him with compassion and care during his last chapter.

My father will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
