The family announces with great sorrow the unexpected passing of Jack Slattery at home on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at the age of 77 years.
Loving husband of 56 years to Judi Slattery (née Tonelli); beloved father to Jason Slattery (Katie MacDonald), Kari Slattery, and Joey Slattery (Jenn); cherished grandfather to Aine Fazzoli.
Dear brother to Lorna Del Guidice (Roger) and Joan Dole (late Tom).
Also survived by his sister-in-law Gina Tonelli and brother-in-law Ray St. Cartier, along with many nieces and nephews from the Slattery and Tonelli families.
Jack was predeceased by his parents Percy and Mary Slattery, sister Kathren Slattery, parents-in-law Nello and Vivian Tonelli, sister-in-law Joyce St. Cartier, and brother-in-law Gary Tonelli.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 3, 2025, from 7–9 p.m. at Lessard Funeral and Cremation Centre.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 4, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Anthony’s Cathedral, with Fr. John Lemire officiating.
Interment to follow at Timmins Memorial Cemetery.
