SMITH, John Maxwell Smith

Passed away peacefully in his 63rd year, surrounded by his loving family.

He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 37 yrs Elspeth ( Ellie), his son John James, his daughter Rachel and her husband Misha, his brother Tim and his partner Carolyn and loving Aunt’s, Uncle’s, Cousins, nephew’s and niece’s in Ontario, Nova Scotia and England.

John owned his own company designing and building machines up to 2024, when he suffered a debilitating stroke.

He will be remembered for his love of cars, pets, Scotch and his “bad” jokes.

John Maxwell Smith enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and will be fondly remembered by those who had the pleasure to know him.

As per John’s wishes, cremation has taken place, there will be no service.
