Soula Borovilos

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Soula Borovilos (née Tsonis), a cherished wife, mother, yiayia, and sister, who passed away on September 12, 2026, at the age of 79, surrounded by her loving family.

Soula was the devoted wife of Stanley for 60 years and a loving mother to Mary (George), Konstantinos (Thula), Lily, and Antonia. She was a deeply loved yiayia to Victoria (Timothy), Chrysoula, Stelios, Georgios, Niko, and Alex.

Soula was a woman who showed her love through everything she did. She dedicated herself to helping and caring for those around her and was happiest when surrounded by her family. No one ever left her home hungry, as she always made sure everyone was well fed, cared for, and had something more to take home.

Alongside her husband Stanley, Soula opened Brite Star Cleaners, which has proudly served the High Park community for nearly 60 years and continues to do so today.

She found great joy in her garden and took pride in tending to her flowers and vegetables with love and care. Her grandchildren will especially remember the many little ways she loved to spoil them, including quietly sneaking them money and chocolate whenever she had the chance.

Soula was predeceased by her siblings Angeliki (Zacharias), Maria (Antonios), George (Stratoula), and Anna (Dimitrios), her sister-in-law Kyriakoula (Vasilios), and her brother-in-law Christos. She will be lovingly remembered by her siblings Jim, Thanasi (Vasilki), and Dimitra (Kosta), her sister-in-law Glykeria, and her extended family, relatives, and friends.

Above all, Soula’s life was centered around her family. Her generosity, strength, kindness, and devotion to those she loved will remain with us always. She leaves behind a lifetime of memories, traditions, and love that will live on through her children and grandchildren.

She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
