SPATAFORA, Giuseppina Spatafora

Passed away peacefully on Thursday May 21, 2026 at the age of 90.

Devoted wife of the late Antonio. Proud mother of Philip (Agostina) and Anthony (Maria). Cherished Nonna of Anthony (Daniela), Josie (Sam), Matthew (Sara), Anthony and Sophia. Loving Bis-Nonna of Luca, Olivia and Marco. She will be sadly missed by her dear sisters Nina (Louie) and Maria (Giuseppe – predeceased). Giuseppina will be fondly remembered by her many family and friends. She has been reunited with the love of her life Antonio.

Known for her wonderful sense of humor, Giuseppina was always telling jokes, a.k.a barzellette, and bringing smiles to those around her. She loved being social and treasured the many happy moments spent playing scopa, briscola and bingo, along with enjoying the company of others.

Giuseppina Spatafora cherished her independence and enjoyed spending many winters in sunny Florida. Earning her license at 50 years old, Giuseppina embraced driving with confidence and joy. She was especially proud to still hold her driver’s license at the age of 90. Smiling as she arrived with her Sicilian folk music playing loudly from her car is a memory that will forever make us laugh and think of her fondly.

Her devotion to her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, will remain in their hearts forever.
