SPIETAELS, Jennifer Melissa Spietaels

With heavy hearts, we the family of Jennifer Melissa Spietaels, wish to announce her peaceful passing after a courageous struggle with illness, on Saturday, May 16th, 2026, at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, in her 55th year. Born in Simcoe, Daughter of the late Archie Spietaels and late former Brenda (nee Goddyn) Lefebvre. Jennifer will be remembered for her colourful personality, for her love of all animals, especially dogs, and above all else, as a beloved Wife, Mother, Sister, Aunt and Friend. Jennifer enjoyed spending time with Family and Friends, whether it was at the lake or at home canning pickles and salsa with her Nieces, she always enjoyed socializing. Jennifer is survived by her loving and much-loved Husband, Ron Ward, of Tillsonburg. Lovingly remembered by her Daughter Madison Cross (Fiancé Brandon Webster); Stepdaughter Carma (and Son Marshall). Jennifer is also survived by her Siblings Christa Spietaels (Ron Bankes); Mandy Taylor (Craig) (their Daughters Tessa and Leiah); as well as by several Stepsiblings, Nieces, Step-Nephews and Cousins. Jennifer is predeceased by her Stepfather Ben Lefebvre and by her Stepmother Linda Anstee. Jennifer will be missed by her loyal canine friends Remi, Tuffy and Blue; also, her late pets Max and Pudding.

In keeping with Jennifer’s expressed wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 13th, 2026, at the Carriage Hall (25 Brock St. West, Tillsonburg) from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Later inurnment will take place in Langton Baptist Cemetery.
