It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lynn Chevalier Stables on September 30, 2025.
Lynn was born in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan, and it was there that she met her husband of 65 years, Verne. Once married, they lived in a variety of cities across the country as Verne was transferred with the RCMP.
In 1978 the family moved to Sidney, BC, where they enjoyed a very happy and busy life. She could always be found having a coffee and stroll in Sidney with Verne, playing bridge with friends, and was very active in the fellowship at St. Andrew’s Sidney. Most important to Lynn was spending time with her family, and these times will be greatly missed.
Predeceased by her husband Verne, Lynn leaves behind her daughter Trish, son-in-law Ken and granddaughter Katelynn.
A very special thank you to all of the staff at Sidney Care Home. Lynn was treated with such care and kindness, for which we are extremely grateful.
A Funeral Service will be held at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, 9691 Fourth Street, Sidney, BC V8L 2Y8 on November 20th, 2025, at 2:00p.m.
