Stanley Joseph Krawetz

Peacefully, surrounded by loving family on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at LHSC – University Hospital, Stanley Joseph Krawetz passed away at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Carole Krawetz (neé Maxwell). Loving father of Michael Krawetz (Diana Pearson), Bryan Krawetz (Erika Williams), and Paul Krawetz (Sara Krawetz). Treasured grandfather of Oliver Krawetz, Ivor Krawetz, Eden Krawetz, Kingston Krawetz, Charlotte Krawetz, Oakley Krawetz, Zach Tremblay, and Nathan Tremblay. Dear brother-in-law of Jane Pavli, Denise Rempel, and Murray Rempel. Predeceased by his parents Julie and Stanley Krawetz, sister Marie Collins (Norm Collins), and brother-in-law John Pavli. Stanley will be missed by and was thankful for the care and friendship from his next-door neighbours, Sheldon and Deb Siebert. A retired pipefitter and proud 50 year member of Local 663 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union, Stanley was an avid golfer and past member of the Sarnia Golf and Curling Club. Active in the community his whole life, he coached minor hockey teams for all his boys and was a member of the Bluewater Referees Association. Stanley loved his lawn, spending many hours gardening and tending to it, but above all else, he loved his family. His wife, kids and grandkids were his pride and joy. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Monday, September 28, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. with a lunch to follow.
