STARK, George Robert Stark
April 28, 1944 - February 17, 2026Surrounded by his loving family, George “Bob” Robert Stark passed away peacefully at Fairview Lodge on February 17th 2026
Predeceased by his beloved wife, Cecile Stark (née Sheehan), Bob is now reunited in Heaven with the love of his life.
He was a devoted and loving father to Andrea Horwood (Johnny) and Rob Stark (Tara). Bob took great pride in his family and found his greatest joy in being Grandpa to Robbie, Osmund, Sophia, and Miles. His grandchildren brought endless joy to his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
He was a supportive brother to Shirley Kreitzman (Marv) and Del Stark. Bob was also a proud uncle to Richard, Scott (Katie), and Debbie (Steve). He will be missed by many nieces and nephews as he held each of them close to his heart.
Bob was a dedicated Union plumber with local 401, who took pride in his work and in the many years he spent serving his community through his trade. He was a devoted Catholic whose strong faith guided his life. As a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, he valued service, fellowship, and charity, quietly living out those principles every day.
Bob will be remembered for his strength, steady presence, gentle wisdom, and unwavering love for his family. His legacy of hard work, faith and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the dedicated staff at Fairview Lodge on Heritage Harbour for the compassion and attentive care they provided over the past few years, ensuring he always felt at home. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him and will be forever remembered.
