He was 87 years old. Born on August 28, 1938, in Glen Allen, Ontario, Bob was the son of the late Charles and Inez (Kennedy) Starr.

He was a loving father to Brent Starr (Kathy), Padie Starr, Paul Starr (Lori), and Tammy (Nicholas Savva). His legacy lives on through his cherished grandchildren: Emilee, Brandon, Britney, Kaitlyn (Evan), Nathan, Kelsey, Ryan (Erin), Kayla (Joel), Jenna (Josh), and Christopher, as well as by his great-grandchildren, Claire, Hank, Alex, Sylvie, and Aliyah.

He was predeceased by his grandson Tyler, his sister Bernice Campbell (Bob), his brother William Starr (Mary), his brothers-in-law Ralph Steinmann, Ken West, and sister-in-law Fran Starr.

A devoted member of the Holy Family Roman Catholic Parish in New Hamburg, Bob’s faith was central to his life.
