Victoria Christeen Steele

Born in Simcoe, Ontario on January 8, 1930, Vicki passed away peacefully in her sleep at Stedman Community Hospice on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at the age of 96.

Beloved wife of the late E.E. Ramey Steele (2003). Loving mother of Deborah Irvin (late Ross), Lorraine Dastous (late Terry), and Earl Steele. Cherished grandmother of Donovan Irvin (Dana), Victoria Davies (Mike), Chris Dastous, Andrea Dastous, and Greg Dastous, and proud great-grandmother of Ryan, Scott, Riley, Adrianna, Lila, Carter, and Lily May.

Victoria Christeen Steele worked in retail sales for many years, where her love of fashion shone through. She also enjoyed modeling in numerous fashion shows. A devoted member of St. James Anglican Church in Paris, Ontario for over 20 years, Vicki especially looked forward to the monthly Seniors Luncheon held on Fridays. She was also an active and dedicated member of the Paris Lioness Club for many years, giving generously of her time to the community.

Friends will be received at the Dwayne D. Budgell Funeral Home, 1105 Rest Acres Road, Paris, Ontario, on Friday, April 24, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Simcoe, Ontario. In memory of Vicki, donations to the Brant County SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
