STEWART, Clayton Stewart

Passed away peacefully at Brightshores Health System Owen Sound on Friday, June 19,2026. Born in Holland Township on February 16, 1945, Clayton Edwine Stewart of Owen Sound, was in his 82nd year.

Beloved husband of the late Dianne Mary Stewart (nee Taylor). Loving father of Aleda Closs (Glenn) and Pam Beech (Rob). Cherished grandpa of Payton Watson, Nathan Beech, Justin Wencel, Josh Wencel and Shyla Russell (Curtis). Dear brother of Doreen Galbraith and brother-in-law of Cathy Stewart Lake and Donna Lynn Stewart. Clayton will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Predeceased by his parents Russell and Hazel Stewart (nee Vadner), and his siblings Roger Stewart, Ellwyn Stewart, Kyle Stewart, Delbert Stewart, Ivan Stewart, Gertie Feltis and Roy Stewart.

A funeral service to celebrate Clayton’s life will be held at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th St. W., Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior, followed by a reception at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery.
