STEWART, Johanna Maria Stewart

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Johanna Maria Stewart, who passed away peacefully on August 6, 2026, at Mill Creek Care Centre in Barrie, at the age of 97.

Johanna was predeceased by her beloved husband, John Stewart, and will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Agnes (pre-dec. Charlie) LoMascolo, Shirley (Ivan) Sereda. She was pre-deceased by her son Bill Stewart (surv. Sue).

She was a cherished grandmother to Maria, (pre-dec. Kevin) Earl (Kathy) Ken (Julie), Sandy, Kris (Jenny), Jackie (Spencer), Kaitlyn (Kyle), Troy, Peter (Betty) she was pre-deceased by her grandson Todd. Johanna will also be lovingly remembered by her many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, who brought her much joy and happiness throughout her life.

Johanna will be deeply missed by her family in Holland, as well as her many nieces and nephews, and by all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

Joanna’s family would like to thank the staff at Mill Creek Care Centre for the care and kindness shown to her.

A private family service will be held. Interment Stone Church Cemetery, Beaverton.
