Celebrating the Journey of  Joni Stewart

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, sister, grandma and friend,Joni Lynn Williams Stewart at the age of 67.

Predeceased by her parents Clair and Josephine Williams and her brother Ritchie.

Proud and devoted mother of Tammy (Jason), Terri (Rod) and Chris and step mother of Alex (Abby). Cherished grandma of Hailey, Brayden, Travis, Mya and Molly. She was the much loved sister of Mark (Trish), David (Lorraine) and sister Lori (Fred) and aunt of Jordan, Kayla, Morgan and Ryan.

Her children were her greatest joy and deepest source of pride. She poured her heart into raising them with love and strength, and her impact on their lives will forever be felt.

Born into a close knit family, she shared an unbreakable bond with her brothers and sister, marked by laughter and lifelong connection. Her kindness and generosity made her the heart of every gathering. She will be remembered as someone who gave her all to the people she cared about. She was truly the best and her absence leaves a hole that cannot be filled, but her love will live on in the many lives she touched.

A celebration of life will be held Friday October 24, 2025 from 2-5 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Collingwood, where friends and family are welcome to share stories, laughter and tears as we remember the extraordinary woman she was.

In lieu of flowers donations in Jonis’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation to the Canadian Cancer Society.
