Leslie James Stewart
February 4, 1952 – February 25, 2025
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Leslie James “Les” Stewart, of Oshawa, on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at the age of 73. Les was born in Toronto, Ontario, on February 4, 1952. He was the beloved son of the late Wallace and Cristina Stewart.
Les is now reunited with his loving wife, Sharon (née Brown). He was a devoted father to Kimberley (Darryl), William B.J. (Cheryl), Jamie (Mandy), Josh, and Kevin (Nikki). A loving brother to Linda (Ed), Patsy (Collin), and Sheri (James). He was a cherished grandfather to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and an adored uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Les had a passion for big family dinners, the Toronto Maple Leafs, playing guitar, and listening to Pink Floyd. He had a generous heart and found joy in spending time with his loved ones. A man of many talents, he had a green thumb and loved sitting on his deck, surrounded by the beauty of his garden. His loyal companion, Misty, was always by his side.
Les (Dad, Papa, Poppy) will be deeply missed by his family and friends. We were fortunate to share precious moments together, reminiscing about the good times and honoring how he wished to be remembered.
