Passed away at Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Orillia, Tuesday August 11, 2026.
She will be dearly missed by her sister Ruth and Brother-in-Law Kevin, Nephew Andrew and Niece Sarah as well as her Step-Son Dale and Mayra Summers and son Josiah as well as many family members and friends.
Predeceased by her Husband Robert Summers, brothers John (Julie) & Stephen (Dorothy) and her parents Marjorie & Oliver Carson & Lawrence McKenzie (Stepfather).
Joyce was a 25-year member of the Royal Canadian Legion and was President of Branch 135 for 11 years.
A true and faithful servant to the Legion and her community.
Joyce Susan Summers will be missed by many friends within the region and beyond.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 135 (Beaverton) would be greatly appreciated.
A Celebration of Life will commence at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 135 on August 16, 2026 @ Noon – 4:00PM with the Legion Service beginning @ 1PM during this time.
