TAILLON, Ann Marie Taillon

April 8, 1939 - July 28, 2026
TAILLON, Ann Marie Taillon

Passed away on July 28, 2026. Ann will be remembered with deep respect and lasting gratitude by all who knew her. A resident of Oshawa, Ontario, she lived with steady purpose and a quiet strength that showed in the many ways she supported her family, her work, and her community.

Ann is survived by her beloved husband, Joseph; her children, Mark, Guy, Michele, and Joel; her grandchildren, Ryan, Sean, Rory, Shanna, Paul, Breanna, and Joshua; her great-grandchildren, Galen, Cullen, Ronan, Olivia, Logan, and Rowan; and her great-great-grandchildren, Evelyn and Miles. She was predeceased by her brother John, parents Andrew Mowat and Isabel Mowat (Clancy). She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Chris Mowat.

Ann’s working life reflected her reliability and dedication, including 13 years as an Administrator for Durham Regional Police. She also gave generously of her time and leadership close to home: she was a Founding Member of the Glen Stewart Park, and she served as Manager of the Oshawa Shamrocks Softball teamβ€”guiding the team to an All Ontario championship in 1978.

Beyond her commitments, Ann made room for the pleasures that brought people togetherβ€”travel, curling, and cheering on the Toronto Blue Jaysβ€”interests that spoke to her enjoyment of both adventure and community.
