TAYLOR, Sybil Joan Taylor

Passed peacefully January 9, 2026 at Michael Garron Hospital in Toronto. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years Terrence (Ted) in 2015.
Sybil was born March 30, 1935 in Bishop’s Cove, Newfoundland to Ralph and Rebecca Smith. She was one of twelve siblings: Josiah, Lizzie (Maisie), Vern (Virginia), Patience (Patsy), Ralph, Marcella, Isaac, Gwen, Azariah (Az), Chesley (Ches), Roland, and special niece, Gloria.
Sybil is survived by her son, David (Margaret), daughter Sherry, grandson Gareth (Ashley), great grandsons Connery and Theodore.
A Celebration of Life gathering has been planned for Monday, May the 4th , 2026 at St. Cuthbert’s Anglican Church, Leaside, 1399 Bayview Ave. Toronto. Flowers would be welcomed on the day of the service. In lieu of flowers, please offer a donation to your favorite foodbank.
