He was predeceased by: his parents, Evind Husby and Solveig Husby; his daughter Laila; and his sister Thora (Oystein). He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Petryniak Husby; his sons, Erik Husby (Linda), Michael Petryniak (Valerie) and Craig Petryniak; and his sister Elna (Egil). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Thompson Waters Funeral Home (102 First Ave Port Dover, Port Dover, ON N0E1N0). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Thompson Waters Funeral Home Chapel (102 First Ave Port Dover, Port Dover, ON N0E1N0).
