TERRY, James Eugene Terry

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James Eugene “Jamie” Terry, who left us on May 18, 2026, at the age of 52.

Jamie was the devoted husband of Colleen (née McCourt) and a loving, proud father to Shannon, Ryan (Kaleigh), and Miss Nellie. His family was the centre of his world, and he found his greatest joy in the time spent with those he loved most.

He was a cherished brother to Jason (Sarah), a dear brother-in-law to Sarah Terry and Trish McIndless, and a man whose warmth and generosity extended far beyond immediate family. Jamie was the world’s greatest uncle to Makenzie, and a deeply loved and devoted godfather to Jacob, Jared, Moose (Gabriel), and Isabela.

In his 52 years, Jamie touched countless lives with his kindness, humour, and unwavering loyalty. He had a way of making people feel welcome and valued, and his presence left a lasting impression wherever he went.

Jamie had a deep love for life’s simple joys. He was a passionate fan of the Toronto Blue Jays, enjoyed hockey, and had a strong interest in family history, always appreciating where he came from and the stories that shaped his family. He also loved travelling, creating memories with his loved ones that will be treasured forever.

Above all, Jamie will be remembered for the love he gave so freely, the strength he showed, and the laughter he brought into every room. He leaves behind a legacy of love, connection, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
