Thérèse Couturier of Montréal, Quebec, born January 2, 1927, died October 17, 2026 at the age of 99. A psychiatric nurse at Hôpital Sainte-Justine, she founded the SARPAD caregiver-respite organization in Côte-des-Neiges in 1980 and received the Order of Canada in 1990. A celebration of her life will be held at Centre funéraire Côte-des-Neiges in Montréal.
