THOM, James Derrick Thom

Passed away on November 5, 2025 at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville, at the age of 57.

Beloved husband of Alice. Loving father of Cory (Samantha), Ryan (Kelsey), and Kristen (Shayne). Cherished grandfather of Avalon, Ophelia, Haven, Mabel, Layne, Quentin, Aurora, Denim, and Ariana. Dear brother of Debbe, Sandie, and Gord.

Predeceased by his parents Barbara & Donald.

Jamie’s love for music-especially rock and roll- was a part of who he was. Whether he was strumming one of his beloved guitars or turning up his favourite songs, music was always the heartbeat of his days.

He was also happiest when he was out on the water. Boating brought him peace and joy, and he was proud to fulfill his lifelong dream of owning a boat. He loved nothing more than taking his family out with the sun shining and music playing in the background.
