Thomas Gordon Pratt

Passed away on Saturday August 15, 2026. Thomas Gordon Pratt is survived by his lifelong partner and beloved wife of 61 years, Edith, and his 3 loving children: Kristin, Jeffrey (Eadie), and Gordon. Tom was an amazing Grandpa – he loved to spend time with his 8 wonderful grandchildren: Alexandra, Nicholas, Graden, Jaden, Milo, Mave, Julian, and Evan. Family was everything to him. He was always there for us, and we were all there for him until the end. Tom spent 34 years teaching History and Economics to the fortunate students at Glebe, Commerce, and Rideau. He also impressed many an audience with his chops on trumpet with The Grey Jazz, The Central Airs, Divertimento, and many local community bands. Tom will be deeply missed, but will remain in our hearts forever.
