Peacefully, on Monday, January 13, 2025, at his home in Lindsay, Stanley William James Thomas passed away at the age of 88. He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy (née Young).
Stanley was the loving father of Richard Thomas of Lindsay, Dale Thomas and his wife Jeanette of Manilla, and Brenda and her husband Gary Carter of Lindsay. He was a proud grandfather to Natasha (Mike Atkinson), Taylor Thomas, Justin Thomas (Angelica), Dylan Thomas (Donna Elmy), Kyle Thomas, Cody Thomas (Mackenzie), Kevin Carter (Jessica), and Joel Carter (Bethany). He was also a cherished great-grandfather to Dominic, Colton, Caden, Riley, Thomas, Audrey, Kayla, and Chloe. Dear brother to Mary Young, Stanley will be fondly remembered by his extended family and friends.
Stanley’s legacy of love and dedication to his family will always be remembered. His stories, wisdom, and sense of humor will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
